Jean-Baptiste le Rond, genannt d'Alembert, war ein französischer Mathematiker, Philosoph und Enzyklopädist der Aufklärungszeit. Zusammen mit Denis Diderot zeichnete er für die "Encyclopédie" verantwortlich, die ab 1751 erschien. |
