Hydrostatischer Blasebalg

hydraulic bellows

An experimental device for illustrating the hydrostatic paradox.

The hydrostatic bellows consisted of a bellows and a vertical tube connected to it and open at the top. The ratio of the area of the bellows board to the area of the tube circuit corresponded to the ratio of a weight acting on the bellows to the weight of a liquid with which the tube was filled.
