Hochdruckdampfmaschine
Mit Hochdruckwasserdampf betriebene Dampfmaschine. Im Gegensatz zur Wattschen Dampfmaschine leistet der atmosphärische Druck keine Arbeit.
Die Hochdruckdampfmaschine kommt ohne Kondensator aus, erfordert aber eine anspruchsvollere Zylinderkonstruktion.
high-pressure steam engine
A steam engine driven by high-pressure steam. Unlike Watt’s steam engine, atmospheric pressure does not play a role.
The high-pressure steam engine does not need a condensor, but the cylinder design is more demanding.
