Bezeichnung für ein Giebeldreieck an der Frontfassade eines Gebäudes. Auch Frontispice oder Frontspiess genannt.
In der Typografie wird als Frontispiz eine Illustration auf der zweiten Buchseite gegenüber des Titelblatts bezeichnet.
