Protection Society

Für Sheffield sind folgende «Protection Societies» überliefert:

• Ab 1814: Pen & Pocket Blade Forgers and Smithers Protection Society
• Ab ca. 1844: Saw Makers’ Protection Society
• Ab 1844: Sheffield Manufacturers’ and Tradesmen’s Protection Society

Auch Schutzverein genannt.
