Chrysotypie
Von John Herschel (1792–1871) im Jahr 1842 erfundenes fotografisches Verfahren.
Bei der Chrysotypie wurde das Fotopapier mit Ammoniumeisencitrat beschichtet, und das Bild mit einer Goldchlorid-Lösung entwickelt.
John Herschel war der Sohn von Wilhelm Herschel.
Chrysotype
A photographic method invented by John Herschel (1792–1871) in 1842.
Herschel’s method entailed coating photographic paper with ammonium ferric citrate and then developing it with a chloroaurate solution to obtain an image.
John Herschel was the son of Wilhelm Herschel.
