Brand von zahlreichen Lagerhallen für Hopfen, Lebensmittel und andere Güter in Southwark bei der London Bridge am 23. Juni 1851 um 3 Uhr Nachmittags.

Die Zeitungen berichteten landesweit über das Ereignis. Johann Conrad Fischer besichtigte den Schauplatz am folgenden Tag und machte sich ein Bild der Verwüstung.

Southwark warehouse fires

Fire of numerous warehouses for hops, foodstuffs and other goods in Southwark near London Bridge on June 23, 1851, at 3 o’clock in the afternoon.

The newspapers reported the event nationwide. Johann Conrad Fischer visited the scene the following day and got a picture of the devastation.
