Obelisk von Luxor

Ali Pascha schenkte den Obelisken an Karl X. Der Transport und das Aufstellen des Obelisken in Paris geschah unter Louis-Philippe I. Der Obelisk stand ursprünglich im Tempel von Luxor, seit 1836 steht er auf der Place de la Concorde.

Ali Pasha gifted the obelisk to Charles X, though it was shipped to Paris and erected under Louis-Philippe I. The obelisk was originally part of the temple complex of Luxor, but has stood on the Place de la Concorde in Paris since 1836.
