Walzen
Fertigungsverfahren, bei dem der metallische Werkstoff zwischen rotierenden Walzwerkzeugen umgeformt wird.
Man unterscheidet zwischen Kaltwalzen und Warmwalzen.
rolling
A manufacturing process in which the metal stock is passed through rotating rollers in order to reshape the metal.
A distinction is drawn between cold and hot rolling.
