Vertumnus and Pomona

A sculpture depicting Vertumnus and Pomona, the god of seasons and the goddess of fruit trees and orchards.

When Johann Conrad Fischer visited the Drottningholm Pleasure Palace in Stockholm, he saw these two figures of Roman mythology at the entrance to the gardens but he seems not to have known the name of the artist who created the statue.
