Context

Im Jahr 1864 brachte Georg Fischer den Tempergussfitting auf den Markt. Er steht für die Wurzeln der Division GF Piping Systems (später GF Industry and Infrastructure Flow Solutions) und wurde bis heute milliardenfach produziert. 1957 folgte die Markteinführung von Rohrverbindungen aus Kunststoffen. Neben Rohrverbindungsteilen wuchs die Produktpalette in verwandte Bereiche wie Hilfsmittel für die Rohrmontage, Ventile, Messtechnik.

Die Ablieferung der Publikationen an das Konzernarchiv ist nicht dokumentiert. Sie befanden sich seit spätestens 2010 im Archiv, chronologisch geordnet in Bundesordnern. 2020-2021 wurde der Bestand umverpackt und auf Dossierebene verzeichnet. Einige spätere Werbepublikationen wurden im Zuge der Verzeichnung in den Bestand integriert.
